Your choice of business bank account can have a significant effect on your business, and there’s a lot of variation in the cost and the services offered. This is one of the first decisions you’ll make when setting up your company, and you can expect to be using the same account years later. Ultimately, the choice of business bank account is down to you as the director of your company, but we’re often asked for recommendations, and in this article, we’ll look at why we chose to partner with Mettle by NatWest.
It’s completely free
For anyone who is familiar with business banking and associated charges, this is really big news. While it’s quite normal for a business bank account to come with a monthly charge, Mettle is completely free.
Mobile banking using the app
You can create, send and manage invoices and receipts from the app on your iPhone or Android. The app also features live chat support for any questions or queries you may have.
Integration with accounting software
We recommend FreeAgent for contractors and Xero for our small business clients, and both will integrate with your Mettle bank account. This allows you to set up automated bank feeds which will save you time, and ensure you always have up to date info to base your business decisions on.
